The majority of Instagram users are NOT checking how perfectly organized everyone's profile is. They are just scrolling their own feed. The beauty of Instagram is that you can have a bit more control of your followers and have a better chance of landing in their feed by following these simple tricks.
So stop wasting time trying to be perfect. Get your message out there. The best advice I always give business owners is to make it easy for your customers. Make sure your message is clear and they know how to find your stuff.

Of course, the best way to make sure any of your marketing efforts are making a difference is to always be checking your analytics. Just because you have over 1,000 Instagram followers, doesn't mean anyone is seeing your posts or clicking to your website. After all, if you're a small business owner, that is the main reason you would spend time on Instagram anyway... to market your business. So if it's not working, find out what does work.
